I liked the price
Really needs to be upgraded and there is no soundproofing, we could hear our neighbors T.V. and conversation and laugh the whole evening
the front desk ladies were very friendly and helpful...very personable.
the resturant was not very good, i think short staffed but service was lacking. Continental breakfast...very disappointing. The previous times stayed there was a hot breakfast offered in the resturant may be something to look into, i know that it would have been a nice option to have that in the morning.
Room was ok, breakfast also.
Room was very far entrance and it was uncomfortable to get there.
It's convenient, centrally located to shopping, service stations and the main highway.
We like it!
I liked the cleanliness of the rooms, the nice staff, the onsite restaurant, close grocery/shopping and the price.
Nothing. We had an enjoyable stay
The proximity of Jasper and the drive from there where you can see some wildlife. big male elks!! the lady at the desk was very very nice, very welcoming. the room was big and confortable, good ac system.
The check in staff was very good - check out the same We made coffee it was good
The second stay the klnix box was empty The double bed is worn out and should be replaced We lost a day timer some place if you find it send it to me
The room was nice, good contiental breakfast( all others on our trip did not have but charged alot more money)....NIce motel, not a dump...Had guest laundry, convient and quiet location...
Our room was upstairs and there was no elevator....very hard to carry heavy luggage up steps
Asked for a no smoking room, but. it smelt of smoke, so they changed our room, . Large supermarket and rv park next for and close yo busy highway and with industrial. zone.
Smoke everywhere. inside and out
The staff was very friendly.
I really didn't like the breakfast. The cups were styrofoam cups, and there were no mugs that one could use. The breakfast cereal was stale, and the bread was not of good quality. My husband took one look at it and said; "Let's go out for breakfast."
The decor of the hotel was really old and shabby and it was like being warped back in time. The breakfast was apalling: it was served in a dingy, semi-lit bar and the selection on offer was terrible. Most items ran out during the course of each morning so if you didn't get there early you had even less from which to choose. In addition, cutlery, plates and mugs kept running out and there was one very flustered and slightly rude member of staff reluctantly going off to find more while guests were kept standing around waiting.
Location and picture on internet, bathroom floor
Beds uncomfortable and small, bathroom dirty, mold on shower curtain, flush handle broken, ceilings were bowing through hallway, lots of noise from people walking upstairs, generally in bad repair.
Convenient for travelers, price was right.
When we went to the room, the beds were lumpy and pillows askew. I thought the room had not been made up yet but the next room we got was exactly the same. They could use a bit more finesse making up the beds so they look like they've been made up. The pool was very dirty. I'm not sure we would swim in it, just popped down to have a look at it. We would stay here again.
The last time that we stayed at the Crestwood Hotel quite a few years ago, I vowed that I would not stay there again. Going home from our vacation we needed to stay overnight in Hinton. I booked over the internet, not realizing it was the hotel where we stayed years ago and had a bad experience, dirty and dated rooms . However we were pleasantly surprised, The staff at the front desk, who were very busy with a large group. Helped us quickly and we were in our room in no time flat. We loved the decor and the firmness of the bed. A great improvement from what we remembered. I would recommend the Crestwood to anyone.
The breakfast was sufficient, but could do with some improvement, in regard to choice. The muffin tray was empty, as was one of the cereal containers. Also the toaster which had four slots, only two were working causing a long line up. We managed to get some warm bread. This could improve. Also "breakfast including" as advertised is misleading, one expects at minimum boiled eggs plus toast etc. It should be called "Continental breakfast" instead. Having said all this, the breakfast experience will not keep us from staying at the Crestwood Hotel.
Noise from other rooms and hallways -- doors shut very loud. Cleaning staff was out too early.
